Dear School Families,
From bright community events to the excitement of playoffs, the transition into fall is always an exciting time for schools!
We also have great news in California: a new policy requires insurance organizations to provide funding for Mental Health Services at school! This funding will help schools retain their Mental Health supports—at zero cost to our families—but it does depend on families providing consent to contact their insurers. Help your school by completing the brief form today!
We have a host of events and opportunities to share this week: we are also hosting a food distribution on Monday at Harbor High; we're inviting Middle School families to our High School preview Webinar on Thursday; we have our Warriors Benefit game tonight, a resource fair for disabled youth, support events for Santa Cruz and Harbor High students, and an upcoming event helping to provide a path to citizenship and an upcoming Family Computer Science Playground at the MAH!

Families can learn about ways to access education, employment training, community living, health and wellness, financial and legal support, transportation, social, self-advocacy & decision making. Path To Citizenship Event November 22nd! The Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County is hosting an event on Saturday, November 22nd from 9am to 12pm at 406 Main St. Watsonville, CA Suite 218 where residents will be able to learn about about paths to citizenship. This is a free event, no appointment is necessary to attend and the services will be first-come, first-serve! Click here for more info!
