SCCS Tech Task Force

A Collaborative Approach to a Changing Landscape

Our relationship to technology today is dynamic, as a rapidily-changing landscape presents new variables, challenges and opportunities seemingly every day. To help our approach develop as needed, and to ensure that family and staff voices are represented in district strategy, we formed the Tech Task Force.

Our Tech Task Force meetings typically consist of 10-15 parents and 10-15 teachers and staff members.

Since AI has emerged as a factor for anyone with internet access, we have worked with our Tech Task Force to inform strategy and gather input from the community as we refine our response to the wide availability of these developing tools.

Anyone can reach out with questions about the Tech Task Force to Shannon Calden at shannoncalden@sccs.net. Shannon is our Director of Elementary Learning & Achievement but also facilitates the task force.
