Fatigue / Sore Throat / Cough / Nausea / Vomiting / Diarrhea / Headache  /  Fever / Chills / New Loss of Taste or Smell / Shortness of Breath / Congestion / Runny Nose / Difficulty Breathing / Muscle or body aches


Yes


Stay home & Strongly Recommend testing

Parent should keep student home & notify school
Parent should get student a COVID test**

Treat as any normal illness. But if your student has any known exposure, click here.

Positive:
 Isolate


5 days from first symptoms

and No fever for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication)

and Symptoms have improved

May return day 6 with a negative antigen test (through inspire or another certified lab)**

Without negative test, must isolate a full 10 days


No Test:
 Isolate


Isolate for 10 days from date of symptom onset. 

Return if no fever for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication)

and Symptoms have improved












Negative:
Return


With negative test (1 PCR or 2 Antigen tests 24-48 hours apart)**

and No fever for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication)

and Symptoms have improved










 

**Testing must be performed/observed by a healthcare provider, laboratory, or a CLIA certified program OR a healthcare provider has provided documentation that the symptoms are typical of their underlying chronic condition (e.g., allergies or asthma) OR a healthcare provider has confirmed an alternative named diagnosis,

Regardless of Vaccination Status:

Test & Remain in School

First test should be taken 3-5 days after exposure. Monitor for any symptoms. We strongly encourage masks to be worn following an exposure. Anyone who has recovered from COVID in the last 90 days is encouraged to test, but not required.





Any student with a positive COVID test result MUST:


Isolate 5 days from start of symptoms

& until student has had no fever for 24 hours (without fever reducing medication)

& until Symptoms have improved

May return on day 6 with a negative antigen test taken through Inspire or another certified lab


Without a negative test, must isolate a full 10 days
