CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

Career Technical Education (CTE) courses combine academic rigor with hands-on learning.  Our courses give students an opportunity to explore potential careers with real world experience.

CTE courses are taught throughout all the district's high schools, and many articulate with a-g UC/CSU requirements, as well as articulate with Cabrillo College (see bottom of page).

All CTE teachers collaborate with members of the business community to ensure their curriculum is relevant and up to date with today's industry. Students meet members of the business community in each class.  They also finish the course with a cover letter and resume of the skills learned in their CTE course.
